This approach stems from a deeply rooted institutional conviction that the quality of the educational experience is directly linked to the readiness of the academic environment, the clarity of organizational pathways, and the early integration of students into the university system and its academic community.

In alignment with this philosophy, the University intensified its preparations ahead of the launch of the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, through a series of preparatory meetings and orientation sessions targeting both academic staff and newly admitted students. These efforts aim to ensure an organized, well-informed, and stable start to the academic journey.

Academic Committee Meeting: Ensuring Advance Planning Before the Semester Begins

As part of the organizational and academic preparations for the second semester, the Academic Committee at Vertex International University convened its preparatory meeting with faculty members, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Abed, Vice President for Academic Affairs. This meeting was held within the framework of the institutional follow-up mechanism adopted by the University prior to the start of each academic semester.

The meeting aimed to review the readiness of study plans and course offerings, coordinate efforts among various academic units, and ensure the smooth alignment of all processes related to the educational workflow in accordance with the approved academic plan and established timeline. The session began with welcoming faculty members and emphasizing the importance of this meeting as a pivotal milestone preceding the semester’s launch, during which the academic vision is unified, priorities are clarified, and academic decisions are aligned with approved policies and regulations.

Meeting Themes and Academic Priorities

During the meeting, the Committee addressed a set of interrelated themes that constitute the organizational foundation of the semester. These included study plans and schedules, electronic courses on learning platforms, faculty affairs, student affairs, the academic calendar, quality assurance and accreditation, as well as technical support and institutional communication.

Academic readiness received particular attention, as final course schedules were approved after reviewing their time distribution, number of sections, and balance of teaching loads among faculty members. This ensures the regularity of the educational process and prevents organizational conflicts. The Committee also confirmed that study plans comply with approved academic regulations, safeguarding the stability of students’ academic pathways throughout the semester.

Regarding the digital learning environment, the meeting reviewed the level of course readiness on the Learning Management System (LMS), emphasizing the completion of uploading approved instructional content and adherence to academic quality standards. Ensuring alignment between course content, course descriptions, and defined learning outcomes was also stressed.

In addition, the meeting addressed faculty affairs, particularly the fair and efficient distribution of teaching loads in a manner that considers specialization and academic expertise, and enables faculty members to perform their teaching and research duties with high efficiency.

Orientation Sessions: Preparing Students and Integrating Them into the University Environment

Parallel to internal academic preparations, Vertex University prioritized the early orientation of newly admitted students prior to the start of classes. This was achieved through holding two separate orientation sessions via the University’s electronic platform: one dedicated to new graduate students and the other to undergraduate students. These sessions were part of an integrated plan designed to ensure students’ early integration into the academic and organizational framework of the University.

Graduate Student Orientation: Transitioning to Research and Knowledge Production

The orientation session for graduate students focused on preparing them for a more advanced academic stage centered on research and knowledge production. The session included an overview of the study system, academic calendar, assessment methods, and the nature of research assignments, in addition to technical training on the use of the University’s electronic platform.

The session witnessed strong engagement from graduate students, whose inquiries focused primarily on academic and administrative communication channels, mechanisms for interacting with faculty members, course organization, and the nature of coursework and assignments. University administrations confirmed that the approved communication system ensures timely and disciplined responses, and that research assignments are designed within the academic plan and coordinated between faculty members and students, thereby enhancing academic performance and research skills.

Undergraduate Student Orientation: A Clear Beginning to the Academic Pathway

The orientation session for new undergraduate students focused on establishing a clear and structured start to their university journey. Students were introduced to the academic system, study mechanisms, study plans, and the academic calendar, along with practical training on using the University’s electronic platform.

Students’ inquiries centered on attendance and assessment policies, class scheduling—particularly for working students—language of instruction, University accreditations, and the nature of awarded degrees. The University clarified that its educational model is based on interactive learning, with flexible schedules that accommodate students’ circumstances. Arabic is adopted as the primary language of instruction, supported by scientific terminology in English, and degrees are eligible for accreditation and certification in accordance with approved regulations.

The Vertex University Community: A Learning Environment Built on Engagement and Responsibility

These integrated preparations and advance planning reflect Vertex University’s philosophy of building a conscious academic community that extends beyond virtual classrooms and course content. Instead, it is founded on early engagement, clarity of roles, and a strong sense of institutional belonging. The University community continues to grow and evolve through proactive planning, structured communication, and genuine partnership among administration, faculty members, and students.

Through this approach, Vertex University continues to establish a modern university model that places students at the center of the educational experience, equipping them from day one with clarity, stability, and confidence. This, in turn, enhances their capacity for academic success and active participation in a continuously evolving academic community.

<span
