During the 2025\u20132026 academic year, Vertex International University experienced a year marked by sustained academic, scientific, and institutional work. Its educational base expanded, its research activity became more diverse, its network of academic and institutional relationships grew, and its administrative presence was further established across several countries.<\/p>\n
A review of the Vertex International University\u2019s first-year outcomes reveals several parallel areas of activity. Academic work expanded across colleges, programs, and training, accompanied by a growing presence in research and academic publishing. Partnerships and accreditations also assumed a prominent position within the university\u2019s institutional relationships. Throughout the year, conferences, seminars, meetings, and initiatives provided additional spaces for academic interaction, alongside the university\u2019s growing institutional presence both geographically and digitally.<\/p>\n
The first-year academic landscape began with the university\u2019s educational structure. Vertex International University comprises 4 academic colleges<\/a> offering more than 50 academic programs, <\/strong>with the participation of 88 faculty members. This breadth reflects the diversity of fields and specializations offered by the university, as well as the expanding teaching base responsible for delivering its academic programs and courses. Academic activity also extended into training, with more than 2,500 training certificates issued during the year. An additional dimension emerged from the diversity of the university\u2019s student community, which included students of 11 nationalities, reflecting the varied national backgrounds of its learners and the wider reach of its academic programs.<\/p>\n Together, these elements form the foundation of the university\u2019s academic work: colleges and programs, faculty members, training, and a student community representing multiple nationalities. During the first year, these components became established features of the university experience.<\/p>\n The first academic year witnessed research and publishing activity across several areas, most notably the publication of 56 scientific research papers involving 83 researchers from 8 countries. This participation reflects the expanding scope of involvement in research activity, extending to researchers from multiple countries and adding an international dimension to the university\u2019s academic landscape beyond the immediate boundaries of its educational community.<\/p>\n At the same time, Vertex International University launched 4 peer-reviewed scientific journals<\/a> carrying ISSN numbers, covering a range of fields:<\/p>\n The establishment of these journals represents an institutional step in the development of academic publishing. It provides researchers with specialized platforms for publishing their work and creates opportunities for reviewers and editorial board members to participate in scholarly activities.<\/p>\n This activity also contributed to building a space that brings together research production and the organization of academic publishing, making the journals part of the academic structure established during the university\u2019s first year.<\/p>\n Vertex International University has launched its new official website for its peer-reviewed scientific journals<\/a>, providing a digital space that brings together scientific publications and brings published research closer to readers and researchers.<\/p>\n The launch of the website comes as part of the university\u2019s vision to build a hub that brings together those interested in knowledge, scientific research, and academic publishing within the broad digital space, while providing easier access to the scientific content published by Vertex journals.<\/p>\n The website enables readers and researchers to follow the journals\u2019 latest publications and explore their scientific content, as well as learn about the publishing process and how to submit research.<\/p>\n Through the website, readers and researchers can:<\/p>\n With the launch of this platform, Vertex International University opens a new digital space for published knowledge, bringing scientific content closer to its readers and enabling researchers to follow publications, research papers, and publishing processes from a single place.<\/p>\n During the first year, the university developed a broad network of academic and institutional relationships, reaching 17 success partners around the world, <\/strong>including 5 university partnerships and 4 institutional partnerships, in addition to more than 15 academic partnerships within the university\u2019s wider network of relationships.<\/p>\n These partnerships provide broader opportunities for academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise and knowledge, while strengthening the university\u2019s presence within academic and institutional circles in the countries with which it maintains cooperative relationships.<\/p>\n The year also included 8 international accreditations and memberships<\/a>, adding new dimensions to the university\u2019s network of relationships within international academic and professional frameworks.<\/p>\n One of the most significant milestones in this area was the university\u2019s receipt of an official licensing document from the Ministry of National Education, Education, Scientific Research, Training and Professional Integration of the Union of the Comoros. The document represents an important institutional milestone for the university.<\/p>\n Academic and strategic partnerships with a number of universities in more than one Arab country also formed an important part of this institutional expansion. These partnerships provide broader opportunities for academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise and knowledge, while strengthening the university\u2019s presence within academic circles in partner countries. Such academic relationships may also enhance opportunities for the acceptance of university qualifications and their equivalency procedures before the competent authorities in the countries of partner universities, in accordance with the regulations and requirements applicable in each country, adding an institutional dimension to the value of the degree and creating broader opportunities for graduates to benefit from their qualifications academically and professionally.<\/p>\n During the academic year, the university held 90 academic events across conferences, seminars, academic forums, meetings, and initiatives. The year\u2019s agenda included 4 international conferences, 8 scientific seminars, and 3 academic forums, <\/strong>in addition to <\/strong>20 introductory meetings and 50 official meetings. The activities also included a Ramadan evening and academic forum, an online scientific day, and 3 <\/strong>scientific and cultural initiatives.<\/p>\n These figures reflect the diversity of academic and institutional engagement throughout the year. Conferences, seminars, and academic forums provided spaces for discussion and knowledge exchange, while introductory and official meetings contributed to expanding communication with students, institutions, and academic bodies.<\/p>\n Scientific and cultural initiatives, along with the online scientific day, added further opportunities for participation, giving the first year\u2019s activities a character that extended beyond individual events into a diverse program bringing together academics, researchers, students, institutions, and those interested in academic affairs.<\/p>\n The first year witnessed an expansion of Vertex International University\u2019s institutional presence through 7 administrative offices and locations, forming an institutional presence across 5 countries: the United States, T\u00fcrkiye, Egypt, the Comoros, and Sudan. This geographical presence gives the university\u2019s institutional work a broader reach, while its educational model is based on digital learning. The university supported this model through structures serving its academic and administrative operations. The combination of administrative presence and digital infrastructure holds particular importance for a university that delivers education online, as managing programs, students, faculty members, and university services requires digital tools capable of organizing the various aspects of academic and administrative work.<\/p>\n The agreement to establish a university building in the Union of the Comoros is among the most significant steps reflecting the development of Vertex International University\u2019s institutional presence and an important stage in its expansion.
