Vertex International University is preparing to organize a free training program titled “Training of Trainers (TOT),” from Sunday, November 8, to Wednesday, November 11, 2026, daily from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mecca time, online via Zoom.
The trainer preparation program will be delivered by Dr. Mohamed Omran Mohamed Khalifa, who holds a PhD in Science from the University of Georgia, United States, and serves as Director of the Career Development Center and an internationally certified trainer. It will cover a range of topics related to training fundamentals, training program design, presentation and communication skills, session management, and the use of digital methods in training delivery.
The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs, while developing their abilities to present content and manage interaction with trainees. It will also provide opportunities to apply the skills acquired through discussions, exercises, and practical activities.
Dr. Mohamed Omran Mohamed Khalifa to Lead a Program for Trainer Development
The program reflects an interest in developing professional and training skills and introducing participants to the essential practices trainers need when preparing and delivering training programs. These practices range from identifying training needs and designing content to selecting appropriate training methods, managing sessions, and evaluating outcomes.
Dr. Mohamed Omran Mohamed Khalifa will present the program topics through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application. This approach will help participants understand the stages of training program development, define objectives, organize activities, and use presentation and communication skills to enhance trainee engagement.
The program will also address methods for working with different trainee profiles, managing discussions and practical case studies, and using digital tools to deliver training content. This will enable participants to understand the requirements of both in-person and digital training and develop their capabilities in both areas.
Five Key Areas for Developing Trainers’ Skills
The program covers five main areas that address the stages of training, from understanding training fundamentals and identifying needs to designing programs, managing sessions, and using digital technologies.
- First: Training Fundamentals and Training Needs Assessment
Participants will learn about the concept of training and its fundamental principles, as well as how to identify training needs and analyze gaps in skills and knowledge. This will help them develop programs that respond to the needs of their target audiences.
- Second: Training Program Design
This area explores how to formulate SMART objectives, prepare training packages, organize content, and select methods and activities appropriate to the nature and objectives of each program.
- Third: Presentation and Communication Skills
This area focuses on developing public speaking and presentation skills, using body language, and strengthening effective communication with trainees. These skills help trainers deliver information clearly and maintain participant engagement throughout training sessions.
- Fourth: Training Session Management
This area examines methods for dealing with different trainee profiles, managing activities and discussions, organizing exercises and practical case studies, and handling situations that may arise during training sessions.
- Fifth: Digital Training
Participants will explore the skills required of digital trainers and ways to use modern tools and technologies to deliver content, organize interactive activities, and improve the learning experience in online training programs.
Practical Applications for Designing and Delivering Training Programs
The program emphasizes practical learning through discussions, exercises, and activities that allow participants to practice the skills covered during training and learn how to translate theoretical knowledge into practical steps for designing and delivering training programs.
The practical activities will help participants develop their skills in preparing training packages, formulating objectives, and selecting appropriate training methods. They will also have opportunities to practice presentation and communication skills, manage training sessions, and engage with trainees.
The program will also address the ability to evaluate training programs, assess the extent to which established objectives have been achieved, and use evaluation results to improve training content and methods. Participants will also receive digital learning materials that they can refer to and use after the program ends.
Participants will receive a certificate accredited by Vertex International University upon completing the program requirements, as announced by the university.
