Vertex International University has begun the Fall 2026–2027 semester, with classes running from the first day across its three colleges, with participation from undergraduate and graduate students. Students have begun attending the courses included in their academic plans, marking the start of the academic program for the new semester.
The new semester includes the College of Business Administration, the College of Computing and Information Technology, and the College of Health and Environmental Sciences, along with the undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the University across these academic fields.
Classes Running from the First Day
The beginning of the semester included the first lectures for courses listed in the academic schedules, with students attending and interacting with faculty members. The opening sessions focused on introducing course content and outlining the study requirements associated with each course throughout the semester.
The first-day lectures brought together students from different academic levels and specializations. Undergraduate students began their new courses, while master’s and doctoral students started the semester according to the academic requirements of their respective programs.
The regular scheduling of classes from the first day marks the direct start of the academic program, as students proceed with their courses according to the designated schedules, alongside the assignments and academic activities associated with each course.
Academic Programs and Specializations for the New Semester
The College of Business Administration offers programs in areas including business administration, accounting, digital marketing, and financial technology, among other fields related to business. The College of Computing and Information Technology offers programs in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
At the College of Health and Environmental Sciences, students study specializations including health services administration, health informatics, digital health, environmental health, and hospital administration, along with other programs related to the health and environmental sectors.
Graduate students are also enrolled across the three colleges in master’s and doctoral programs, following the courses and research requirements specified for each program. Undergraduate students, meanwhile, begin their courses according to their academic level and specialization.
Student Attendance and Engagement in the First Lectures
Student attendance was clearly evident in the first-day lectures, accompanied by interaction with faculty members and engagement with course content. The opening sessions also provided students with an opportunity to become familiar with the courses they will continue studying throughout the semester and the academic requirements associated with them.
The start of the semester follows the University’s preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year, which included orientation and training sessions for new students on using the educational platform and its tools, accessing lectures and study materials, and making use of digital academic services.
These sessions were held before the start of classes, particularly for new students, to introduce them to the practical steps required to use the platform and follow lectures and course materials.
