The forum officially opened with welcoming remarks by Dr. Amina Youssef Al-Sallout, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, who welcomed the distinguished guests, speakers, and attendees. Engy Ayman Sayed Abdelazim, Academic Supervisor of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Assistant Researcher in Autonomous Driving at the American University in Cairo, presented “From Zero to Agentic Artificial Intelligence,” discussing the evolution of AI technologies toward intelligent systems capable of independently performing tasks and making decisions.

In the intelligent systems session, Dr. Mohamed Mohamed El-Nabawy, Automation Systems Consultant, Assistant Professor, and Technical Leader in Smart Irrigation, Smart Cities, SCADA Systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT), delivered a presentation entitled “The Future of Smart Irrigation Systems,” highlighting recent technological developments that employ intelligent systems and IoT technologies to improve water resource management and support sustainable agricultural solutions.

Prof. Dr. Hany Amin Abdelhamid, a specialist in cybersecurity and information security and a researcher in social engineering and digital risk management, presented “The Human Factor and Social Engineering,” emphasizing the critical role of human awareness in cybersecurity and the importance of organizational behavior in reducing digital risks and strengthening information protection.

The forum also featured Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Shawky, a specialist in cybersecurity and modern telecommunications networks, who presented “AI-Powered Cyber Defense in Sixth-Generation Networks,” reviewing emerging research directions in integrating artificial intelligence with cyber defense technologies to address security threats within future telecommunications infrastructures.

The scientific sessions concluded with a presentation by Eng. Alhassan Hamed, a specialist in innovation, digital transformation, and the application of artificial intelligence in business model development and agile methodologies. His presentation, “Business Model Innovation through Artificial Intelligence and Agile Methodologies,” explored how AI technologies can be utilized to design more adaptive and efficient business models capable of responding to changing economic and technological conditions.
